    playback of MKV files in windows media player is not working anymore but it used to. It happened from when I installed VobSub 2.23 on my pc. I already had vobSub 2.29 but I was following a guide for virtualdubMod about subtitles.

    Anyone got any ideas.

    nevermind I fixed the problem. I reinstalled Haali media Splitter and everything is fine.

    For VDub there is no need to install the old vobsub. Use VSFilter instead. It contains newer versions of both textsub and VOBSub VDub filters.
