TMPGENC Dvd Author stop half way through video

Hi All,


Has anyone had any problems with there files being cut short I've been using TMPGenc dvd author 1.6 for a while now. Normally i record programmes onto dvd ram from my Panasonic dvd recorder and then covert them to dvd using dvd author.

However just lately dvd author keeps cutting out before the end of the video, for example i had a tv programme which as an hour long but when a got to the editing screen only about 20mins of the programme appeared. I thought there maybe a problem with the disk but it plays all the way through on both my pc and dvd player.

Any ideas

Hmm.. is the video source file clean? Are there errors on them? I've had issues myself when the source file was corrupted in certain portions.

or, maybe did u try installing the software on another PC and see if u can replicate the problem? maybe re-install on the same machine?
