Hi, I've got a Laptop without a TV-Out, but would really like to watch my movies etc. on my TV via my Laptop. Is there a way to get this done without spending a lot of money? I thought about a lot of adapters converting my VGA to RCA or another common TV plug.

Avermedia makes a box that'll output a VGA signal to TV; I think it's about $75, does S-video and composite outpouts, and I'm too lazy to check newegg.com, but you could look there. Dunno if that's cheap enough for your needs, but there are others out there (just do a web search "VGA to TV adapter") and you'll come up with something.
The Avermedia is gonna give a decent picture, though, while your "generic" boxes may not look so good, so there is that. -
Of course "decent picture" doesn't mean it will look anywhere near as good as the laptop's native display.

Thanks, I think I found something. Getting someone who sells stuff like that for a decent in Germany was kinda hard

I'm gonna buy the Grandtec Hand View III, which is 45 EUR and can be bought in ebay. Thats the best solution I found in Germany, I found a few other scan converters, but they either were to expensive or only sold in the US.
I googled for the Grandtec thing and didnt find anything bad, it's cheap, but it's gonna do the job.
