Hi,
I have the prepaid plan "TO GO" service with T Mobile. I have the basic NOKIA 3595 phone (with a sim card).
Now I see they have other compatible "TO GO" phones. I have like 800 minutes still on my phone good thru next year (I don't talk much on it, its really just for emergencies).
My question is can I buy a phone on, say ebay, and take it to a tmobile store and transfer my account to it? I'd be interested in getting that Nokia 6101 or that Samsung model that has a camera phone and does video/sound.
I know the online portions are subscription based and require extra money. I'm not interested in those. I'd like a phone that lets you use your own video and music on media cards.
Any info would be welcome. (I don't have any desire to switch companies or to buy a full service plan, I'm just looking for a cheap way to buy a newer phone and keep my existing service).
EDIT - Never mind - I checked ebay and the cheapest prices on compatible phones were like $80. Not what I had in mind. There are only four or five phones that work with the prepaid plan. Oh well. I'll just wait until I upgrade mp3 player again![]()
