hi
i have an intel mac and i installed the newest ffmpegx and all the needed parts (after deleting older files in /library/application support/ffmpegx)
recently i tried to convert some avi to dvd, and i found out that when converting using mencoder, there are two process which come up - these are yuvscaler and mp2enc which are actually powerpc, and not intel arch
did i do somthing wrong or is this ok? when converting using ffmpeg everything is totaly fine, its just that this site states mencoder is for better qualitty. also when encoding using mencoder, the process mpeg2enc is intel
mp2enc comes up just for little while, yuvscaler is i suppose needed much more for encoding, so i would like it to run intel so dont need to tranlaste.
any help or advice on this?
thank you
