  1. I want to backup some of my commercial DVD Movies, most are just single layer DVD Movies which I want to burn to DVD+R Disk using my Lite-On DVD Burner. Do I just need DVD Decryptor to do this or will I need DVD Shrink?? Are there any other programs that I will need? What is the easiest & fastest way to backup an encrypted commercial DVD Movie to DVD+R Disk?

    -Thanks-

  2. If it's 1:1 then ISO Read->ISO write.

  4. ISO Read, ISO Write.

    I understand that part but HOW do I do that? I am assuming that I will have the "Rip" or Decrypt the Movie, right? If I am doing 1:1 I would just use DVD Decryptor right? How about this Ripit4me? Is that easier to use than DVD Decryptor? (Sorry I am a Newbie).

    Assuming there isn't advanced structure protection, ISO->Read rips the disc and creates and ISO image file. ISO->Write burns that file to a new disc. That's all you have to do.

  8. OK I have downloaded DVD Decryptor. What is this DVD FABdecryptor? When would I want to use that over DVD Decryptor? Is one better than the other?

    -Thanks-

  10. Thanks Guys!
    I own a DVD Movie called "Office Space" & used DVD Decryptor to decrypt the DVD & used the Burning component of DVD Decryptor to burn a Backup DVD to a Verbatim 8X DVD+R 4.7 GB Disk. I then took the disk & put it in my DVD-Rom & watched the movie & it worked!!

    P.S. - Ocassionally maybe once or twice I would get a frame drop or funny freeze for just a second or two & then the movie would continue, is this normal??

    There is a couple of reasons why that can happen. The most likely is that your original had scratches. Some copy protection can cause similair events and it is possible that you got a bad burn. You can check this using kprobe. You may need to tweak your lite-on for your media or use better media. You can find great info about lite-on at cdfreaks forum.
