  1. I'm ripping DVDs with MacTheRipper, then exporting the VIDEO_TS file to DIVX through Popcorn 2. My question is, is it possible to pause the process, as it takes so danged long to do it? I'm doing it on my PowerBook, and it just takes longer than I am ever in one place, and it doesn't seem to matter if it's the "portable" or "home theater" size. There's no information on the Roxio site about this. In fact, you can't even get their "RoxAnn" to answer Popcorn questions at all.

You should post Mac related questions in the Mac forum.

I use Toast to do my DivX conversions, and there is no way to pause, just cancel. I let my conversions run overnight.

I use ffmpegX converter to convert the files. Still have to wait. Can't pause it. Patience grasshopper!
