I have the Canon GL2 and I've been cleaning the lens.
I noticed there is still a smudge on the lens, but actually it appears to be on the inside.
I've not got my manual with me. Has anyone got any ideas of how to approach this?
It doesn't look like its easy to take the lens cover off...
?

i don't think there is an easy way. I think, you have to open tha camcorder completly, and uless you really know what you're doing.....I would recommend not to do it.
there is no easy way of just unscrew it...they are build-in. -
Darn gremlins, getting into the machinery again....
I recommend anyone with a lens capability get a screw-on UV filter to put in front of the mfr lensPanasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'
