Hi everyone.
I'm trying to find the best way to get a film look with this miniDV camera.
Is there anyone who is using this camera?
Thanks!!

The best way to get a film "look" is with a film camera. If you want the film look in a video, the best place to achieve that is in your editor, not your camera. Some people shoot in 24P to approximate the frame rate of film but your GL2 doesn't shoot 24P (no loss in my opinion.) Depending on the editor you use, there are a number of effects that you can use to simulate the film look.

A No. 1 Black Pro-Mist filter is helpful. Also shoot 16:9 anamorphic.
Nevertheless, I have to ultimately concur with SCDVD. Film is film. I still have to pull out the 16mm every once and a while for certain projects.
