  1. Wife got a new video ipod. I'm converting some of our DVD's to work on it and to make a long story short, I'mt trying a new method that takes a LOT less time, but has a bug. I rip the DVD using DVD Decrypter and use Videora to convert it. Video looks great, but about a minute into it the movie usually pauses and then starts playing again (from that spot) with no audio. Clips appear to play fine on my computer.

Any ideas or insights. I need to keep the wife happy, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked out Clonedvd mobile? It does a great job.

  3. I blundered across that just as I posted this question. It's downloaded and I'm ready to rip. Here's hoping.

  5. Check the firmware on your iPod (Settings > About > Version).

You probably have firmware Version 1.1 installed.

If you will go back to Version 1.0 your video shouldn't freeze anymore.
