Ive sent 2 emails asking for help and so far they have been ignored so I am hoping that someone will take some notice of my post and help as a last resort before I end up kidnapping your pet hamsters and holding them to ransom.
OK heres the low down....
I did the usual donation thing to get a copy of SVCD2DVD and then installed it on my P3 1GB hyperthreading POS and I was getting realy crap frame rates so decided that it may be down to general bloat and so then reinstalled XP and tried again with the same results.
2 licences gone......
I then though what the hell I may as well install Vista Beta 2 and try it on that, it didnt work too well and I got errors so I decided to swap back to XP only to get the screen of death telling me I had too many machine licences...
Yeah I know I am a total clot and should of realised but hey I forgot amidst reinstalling etc and so my only way of getting a use now on a NEW pc is to either donate again or BEG for whoever runs the licence server to see how much of an idiot I am and help me out.
I am at your mercy but please be warned I am well known in certain circles for dressing up in womens clothing and telling your m8s I am an ex girlfriend....
Avoid this nasty crying game type situation and please help lol

I'm glad you got help, but I hope this experience has caused you to question the idea of "upgrading" to Vista. Vista is going to have all kinds of DRM crap on it. Based on what I've read, I don't think it's going to like DVD2SVCD very much. There are rumors that Vista may even be able to delete files off your PC without your permission if it thinks you don't have any rights to them. I've already made the decision that I'm not going to run it. I strongly advise a wait and see approach to Vista.
