    l cannot open my rmvb files in the realmedia editor of real producer basic 10, but l can play those files in real player 10, why?
    are there other programs that can edit/cut rmvb files?

    CHeck out the helix site, where they have the open source versions of producer, rmedit, & various ft ends etc. Otherwise, the free gui version from real will not edit -- you have to get the pay version.
