  1. Hi,
I have some AVI files that I want to burn onto a DVD as data. The file size is 4526MB, a DVD can only hold around 44??, so I'm just a little bit over, I was going to overburn the DVD with Nero, but it said I could damage my DVD recorder. Is ther any way to shrink thes files just a little bit so I can fit it on a DVD?

You need to re-encode and reduce the bitrate of either video and/or audio on at least one of the files, since file size = bitrate x running time.
    If in doubt, Google it.
