would you all mind telling me what discs are the best to buy from that website. I have only bought them from wal-mart (maxell) but I would like to buy from this website because they are cheaper. I have heard "don't buy these" so much, but I haven't heard alot of "do buy these" so I am a little lost. I am using the 8x speed.

you can just link to the brand to buy or just tell me what brands to buy or to stay away from.

I use them to burn tv series and movies on if that matters.

    thanks alot.

Those that recommend a specific brand will genrally say Taiyo Yuden which is what you see on that page.

This is a premium priced media brand, but last time I went into Walmart, Maxell appeared to be premium priced.

With any DVDs I recommend you buy a small quantity and test them on your writer.

If you have good results with the Maxells, you should consider looking for another source locally. You should be able to find them in 50 packs for 30 cents or less each.

Yeah I'll third TY. I see TY PREMIUM 8x DVD-R is going for $0.32 a disc including free shipping. Not bad, especially since some people have been getting the 16x stuff in it's place.
