  2. If you are willing to buy 2000 rather than 1500 then SuperMediaStore will ship free:

Sounds like a great deal. Too good to be true. Get a sample before you buy. A good supplier will send you samples. All cases are not created equal. There are many different products out there. Look at the one in a video store. They are really tough thick, heavy plastic made to stand the test of time. I have seen cases with all sorts of issues - warped cases, cases that don't snap closed properly, cases that arrived broken and drove the unit cost up, cases where the center DVD attachment ring is poor quality and the DVD's come lose in mailing, brittle plastic that cracks, even saw a post on here recently complaining of a chemical smell.
I just bought 600 black singles. They cost me $0.2388/unit and $0.0989/unit for shipping UPS ground. Shipping alone was $0.10 a unit. I know these to be a quality product. I have purchased thousands of cases over the past 3 years.
Buyer beware. FEEL THE GOODS!!!!!! Get a sample. Ask about return policy if you are not satisfied and who pays the shipping. I would never buy 2000 cases sight unseen. I have been burnt too many times.

Personally, I happen to work near a Blockbuster, they throw out tons of cases, and while some are shoddy, have gotten several hundred that were in pristine condition, often the same day that they get their DVD shipments in; if I didn't have that avenue, however, 20-30 cents a case in bulk sounds very reasonable, if they are of good quality. If I were ever in the need for a commercial endeavour in bulk, I'd be sure to buy new, obviously, so it's great to hear that some of you have had good experiences with bulk purchasing.

  10. Don't get wrapped up in free shipping.
I never could figure people out that care so much about if the shipping is free. LOOK AT THE TOTAL PRICE YOU PAY!!!
UPS or FEDEX does not deliver for free, you pay for that rather included in the product price or a seperate charge.

$30 for cases plus $10 shipping is a better deal at a total of $40 than to pay $50 for the same cases elsewhere and get free shipping. Big deal, pay $10 MORE for "FREE" shipping.

It ain't rather the shipping was free but the total you have to pay!!
And of course rather the product was good or junk is important too

That said, I was buying disks and cases from RIMA and another place. Rima charged shipping, other place free shipping, same items.
Large orders came from RIMA because the prices were lower and shipping did not add up that fast.
Small orders came from the place with free shipping, thier prices were higher but because I did not pay $5 for shipping on small orders the total was $2 lower.
Same large order from the free shipping place would have been $25 more withthier highers prices than the same orders from RIMA where I paid shipping but got lower price.

Forget free shipping, compare the total price, every dollar comming from you pocket for that order!!

Effectuality has 1500 at USD$0.173 each (volume discounted price) USD$259.50, but not sure where you live in US to check shipping. What I do know is that their cases are great. Sturdy high quality plastic, it's all I use.
