Anyone have any suggestions on where to look to find out why my "print" button(s) no longer function? Windows XP Pro SP2 etc etc etc. Before....I would hit my print button...open Image Composer and paste the screenshot....no biggie....now it is not working. I've done some reading and some have suggested that Firefox might be the culprit. I did try Firefox for a while but uninstalled it to see if my print button would return to normal...no dice.
And I'm still not sure if they were talking about printing(print button) IN Firefox or printing in general.
The print button in PowerDVD still works of course....but I'd still like to do an easy print of the computer screen every now and then. I never knew how much I used that function until I no longer had it....

I'm going to change back to my old wired keyboard later today too to see if that helps.

Thanks in advance for any advise.

  2. Do you mean the "Print Screen" button on the keyboard?

Try prying the button off the keyboard (they come off and pop back on pretty easy) and see if there is something underneath it that is keeping it from being pressed or sticking. Or, turn the keyboard upside down and give it a good shake. If that doesn't help, try plugging in a different keyboard and see if that does the trick.

Try releasing the F lock button on your keyboard.

    Thank You anyway...

I should have known the answer. My lovely and adorable son also found the Standby button on my keyboard recently....right next to the F Lock button.

    DUH!!!!
