  1. I recently upgraded my video card to an ATI 9600 SE and notice that the colors on some of my videos are haywire. Yet when I play them using the VLC player they're fine. What codecs am I missing? Thanks.

    You can use Gspot 2.52 to see what codecs the video uses. If VLC plays them properly, then you may have a codec problem. Identify the codec, then reinstall it or update it and that may solve your problem.

    I hope you used the online updated video card driver's and not those from the included cd ...

    Do that first and then report .

    Same thing happened a while back ... the default video driver's on the cd were rubbish ... the online one's fixed the playback quality issue here .
