  1. Hi
I know u can remove logos by using programs like ulead or pinnacle to set a overaly ontop of the current logo and also by using a logoaway filter in virtual dub.

But this time i have a full dvd of about 3-4 min video which has a logo. i would like to get rid of it in the best possible way and also not loose any quality.
    Any help appericiated.

    thanks

Can't be done. None of the filters completely remove the logos without leaving some artifacts, and you will have to re-encode, which will affect quality.

However, if you want to try, I suggest you open the VOB in virtualdubmpeg2, apply your favourite logo removal filter, and frameserve to an encoder to get a new mpeg2 file out the other end. If you are happy with the results, re-author and you are done.

I haven't bothered to use any of them much because none of them seemed to do a consistent or acceptable job. Most of the time it was less distracting to leave things be. I don't much recording of TV programs, so logos aren't really an issue for me.

If you search for the filters you fill find a couple of pretty long and detailed comprison posts for several of them.

  5. If it's an alpha blended logo, delogo can remove it pretty well.
