  1. Menus usualy have to be in a VTS_0X_0.VOB file. But no matter how I try Scenarist puts menus as a first frame of VTS_0X_1.VOB file. Thus the menu is inaccessible by PGCedit tool and whole project have to be rebuilt to make last minute changes. Scenarist puts pause after this first frame. Who can tell why it does not make separate menu file? The file as a separate file is present in mux directory...
    Here is my layout:

  2. Could it be a problem with the crappy cracked version your using?

Whats your work flow? How are you setting up your scenerio?

  3. "Could it be a problem with the crappy cracked version your using?"
Could be but I use a lot of crappy software and never faced a difference. If I bought all those Photoshops, CCEs, PageMakers, Windows I use, I had to pay some 20 000$. It is more than I earn in 3 years. And besides I do it more just for fun. Actually I have never bought any piece of software in my life. There is one program which I will probably buy because it is imposible to crack. It is Feurio - I need more then 2 writer licence, but I do not know how to buy, I have never payed with credit card on internet. I even do not have a credit card wich can be used in internet. I have had only one licenced program it was 8 years ago. It was Acrobat Exchange 3 which came bundled with HP ScanJet 6500C.

    1) Prepare video with DGIndex, AviScript or VirtualDub and CCE
    2) Prepare audio with CoolEdit, TMpegEnc or AC3Enc (when NTSC)
    3) Prepare menus in Photoshop
    4) Prepare subtitles (if present) with SubRip and MaestroSBT
    5) Import Assets, create Tracks, drag them to Scenario Editor
I am using Scenarist because the DVD contains 2 videos, and each one has 2 audios. The first menu selects video the next selects audio. The playback starts when audio is selected.

    I could go another way:
    1) Author DVD with one audio and menus with unworking but visible buttons in TMPEGEncDVDAuthor
    2) Author each track with IfoEdit with two audios
    3) Replace tracks in Tmpeg authored video with VobBlanker
    4) Finish buttons with PGCEdit
I have once done it with another video. It could be maybe even easyer then messing around with Scenarist, but I use it because I like solving difficult things and authoring is easy with Scenarst when you know how, and it is worth messing because it gives very good perception of how DVD is built.
