The new Mac Pros are finally available.

    But anyway...

I'm looking at the various configuration options, and now realize that I don't know jack about graphics cards. They offer from 1 to 4 "NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256MB" cards, each capable of handling 2 monitors. Call me stupid (please), but why would I need more than one of these? Does it give me faster graphics? Is it so I can connect more than 2 monitors?
