pioneer dvr 111bk

i use to have a pioneer 106 with nero 7 and dvd shrink, now ive recently brought a pioneer dvr 111,but the problem i have, is when i burn on dvd- or dvd+ i cannot make a book typr dvd rom disc,so when i burn the disc it will play in the writer but not on a dvd rom drive or a stand alone player, can any one help

you shouldn't need to set book type to get the dvdr's to work on a standalone player (and its deffinately not needed to play it in a dvd rom drive) .... also note that only dvd+r can be bitset (bitset = set booktype to dvdrom) dvd-r cannot be bitset ....

i suspect that the problem you are having playing the discs is because you are not finalising the disc's .... in nero make sure that it is set to finalise the disc (no more writing possible) as opposed to multisession which will leave the disc open (un-finalised)

yes your right, when i come to burn with nero,finalising is not highlighted,or i mean disabled so i cannot click on the box,any ideas,ive installed different versions and its the same on all of them, and dont wont to wipe hard drive too start fresh.
