    Prior to this apple release of driver, I had already used the flashit to make my superdriver region free.If i now already this apple firmware, is it going to wipe out the region free feature?

    if you (basically re-)apply the Apple firmware,
    yes you will erase the region free hack in
    the previous frimware from flashit.

    the caveat should be:
    "Use this firmware ONLY if you haven't already
    flashed your drive with the latest firmware
    yourself."
    "Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."
