Well, you have to convert it to DVD specs mpg2 first. Take a look under CONVERT left.

Not sure, since I don't do DVD conversions of downloads (I got me a AVI capable player, for those rare occurances when what I want to view on the TV that isn't available on DVD). If AVI2DVD swallows your source file - fine. DivX2DVD (or the later version convertx2dvd) is another application for "convert to DVD" getting much acclaim lately.

SUPER is another good multi purpose conversion app.
You might try loading your source in GSpot to give us some more details (and more accurate help).
Nero should usually be avoided for carrying out tasks not directly related to burning stuff to disc.

Source as in "the file you're trying to make DVD from".

Gspot will let you know if you have the correct decoder's installed ... without these , conversion is not possible .

Avi2dvd dose a pretty good job and is reasonable , allowing some user input ... and a menu if you want to go the whole way .

Super ... mpeg2 out is fine ... vob output is another thing ... I use it to fix problematic avi's .

If ifoedit wont touch a particular mpeg2 encoded video stream during authoring , I wont use it .

OK well I used Nero to convert my Mpeg4 files to a dvd format, but the outcome is a very very choppy video. The picture and sound look great but it isnt smooth at all. What can I do to fix the problem?

Don't use Nero. It's among the worst apps you can use for conversions.

As far as Ive read, these mp4's im trying to convert are Itune videos. Does anybody know a conversion program that will work for this? Also if someone can recommend a good screen capping program that maybe I can convert it that was. Also the program needs to be free, wihtout watermarks and able to convert at least 2 hours of video.

    Cheers!
