    hi, i need to find out how long a certain webpage has been on the web, not a site, just a page within a site

    Assuming it isn't modified or generated dynamically, rightclick o the page and select Properties (IE) or Page Info (FF) to see the last modified date.

    Short of FTP access to the host, I don't think you'll be able to find this out under "normal" circumstances. I think the method suggested above will be circumvented by the caching mechanism within browsers and give you the date the page was created/modified in your cache.

    Why would you need to know this, anyway ?

    It does work with page info in firefox, as I tested it with a known site and page before posting above. I can't guarantee IE will be as accurate.
