    Recieving the following error message:

Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA. None Found (VTS_01)

This Image Has Not Been Mastered Correctly for Burning onta a Double Layer (OTP Track Path) Disc.

None of the Cells meet the 'DVD-Video Specification' criteria for a potential Layer Break Position

Any ideas. Trying to back up a DVD using IMGBurn and inserting a Layer Break

Here's one post concerning 'Layer break'. If you do a forum search you should find a few more: https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=301143&highlight=

If you're just backing up a commercial DVD then you should just be able to use DVDDecrypter in ISO Read Mode then load the ISO in IMGBurn. This should retain the layer break in the same position as the original.
    If in doubt, Google it.

From the recommendation you've made... I have not used DVD Decrypter to Decrypt but used DVD Shrink... Did use DVD Decrypter to make an ISO and used DVD Decrypter to burn the resultant.

I believe using this method at least two of three burns have a layer break mid-scene, because I have a DVD player that will not advance through it and the player freezes mid scene and not at scene change

Check your DVD Shrink settings. There is an option to remove the layer break, which I believe is on be default (as Shrink is designed to reduce a DL to SL size, not duplicate DL discs). If this is on you will have problems like this.

Frankly, I would never use Shrink to rip when there are better tools around. DVD Decrypter, although getting old and not updated anymore, still has the best reputation for ripping DL discs for DL duplication. If you want this to work, take heed of the advice form those more experienced here.

Thanks for the Imput Gunslinger. I do have DVD Decrypter and DVD Fab Express which I may utilize more often. I will also try removing the setting in DVD Shrink just for fun.
