Im trying to print dv from my computer onto dv tapes.
I have tryed many times but nothing is on the tape once i finish.
I set my camera on the play mode and go into "tools>print video to tape" in vegas 6 it starts the process and the video comes up on my camera screen but for some reason it's not recording onto my camera. I have a Panasonic NV-GS120 if thats any help.

How would i got about that?
When you are priting to tape should you have your camera set in the play mode as you re going to watch something on your camera? -
You need to make sure you have your camera set to VCR or VTR mode (varies by camera) and also set to DV-in. Your manual can explain how to do this, but the mode is usually part of the on switch, and DV-in would be set in a menu somewhere. Time to dust off your reading glasses.

Possible you could start the recording manually on the camera when printing to it? -

I had the "printing to dv tape" settings wrong in vegas i had it set to "manual" instead of "crash recording", so it was playing through the camera but it wasn't recording as sone as i selected crash recording it worked so my fault. Not reading as i clicked ok o well cheers everyone
