sorry if this is not the proper place for this, but i'm having trouble with this software. i had a TV show saved on my tivo and wanted to burn it cause a co-worker missed it and i thought this would give me a chance to get familiar with the process. i have extraced the video from my tivo and have converted it to mpg and removed the commercials. i have set up a full DVD in MyDVD 8 w/ menus and chapters and all the rest but i am having trouble creating an image and/or burning. when i preview the DVD everything seems to work ok but when i try to burn it the encoding preview screen advances maybe 5 or 10 frames into the video and then the software seems to stop. overall progress and current task: encoding movie both stay at 0%. i have left the program running for about 5 hours how while i was out and it was on the same screen when i got home. no error messages, it just seems to stop. the program is not frozen; i can cancel it and close the program correctly but it just doesn't seem to want to encode the video. i have tried de-selecting the burn to DVD option so that it only saves an ISO file and have also tried to only burn and not save as an ISO file. i have also tried installing the software on another PC and have the same problem. any ideas on how to remedy this situation?
