Most VCDs that have two languages have both in the one track, but on seperate channels (eg. english in the left channel, manderin in the right channel). Many VCD players (not to be confused with DVD players) and software players allow you to select one channel only.

To fix this, you will have to demux the audio from the mpeg, load it into an audio editor, select the channel you want to keep, and copy it over the other channel. Save the results, mux it back into the mpeg and reauthor.

Hi, You can use TMPGEnc DVD Authoring to solve your problem . under the "track setting", it allows you to change your audio setting to "bilingual". Which means after converted to DVD, you can select left or right channel for your audio.

Frankly I wouldn't trust WMP to test anything. The best test is burn it to an rw and try it in your player. After that, PowerDVD or WinDVD would be the next best option.
