No. But you can use DVD Remake Pro to combine them into a single DVD with a simple menu at the top to choose which to play.

You can't. Not if you expect it to play on most DVD players. You can only have one VIDEO_TS directory off the root directory, and that's where the DVD player looks for its files. You also can't have two directories (or files) of the same name in the same directory. That's a fundamental rule of most operating systems.

If your intent is to have "two DVDs in one", you are going to have to reauthor the DVD into one - one set of menus, pointing to all the VOBs you plan to include. Fortunately, that does not necessarily mean reencoding your existing files.

I'm sure there's other ways/programs to do this, but guns1inger had it right the first time.

Just use load/import the 2 discs into DVDRMP, use it's "merge" feature, which as said will creat a top menu, which then points either to the main menu of each selected disc, or to the feature straight away (assuming there's no menus). -> Export it's compiled "merge" disc and voila - it will output a new VOB/IFO/BUP set with your new double feature.

if you don't need the menus can you use dvd shrink, see https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=284279

  6. And there's always the chance they won't fit without further compression anyway, since a dual layer disc doesn't hold twice the data of a single layered disc. He says each is 4.4GB, although I don't know how he's arriving at that figure.
