I have version 2.15.77 of this program. I used to use TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 together with the TMPGEnc Sound Plugin AC-3. The dvds created would produce sound straight out of my home cinema speakers since I had chosen "Re-emcode MP2 audio to DD (AC3) as default" under Environmental Settings, but with the Pro version I only get sound out of my TV's speakers. I then found under Settings of the individual tracks of my project that I could could set the stream format from MPEG-1 Audio Layer II to Dolby Digital and then the sound would come out of the cinema's speakers.
    2 questions:
Can I uninstall the TMPGEnc Sound AC-3 Plugin now that I have switched software or is still needed by the Pro version?
How can I have the DD setting permanent in all my future projects or do I have to set it each time I create a new project? In TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 this could be accomplished under Environmental Settings where one chose to "Re-emcode MP2 audio to DD (AC3) as default".

As Baldrick-AC3 already included. Load up program, go to 'Option' then 'preferences' and then 'default', tick audio output as default for ac3.
