I'm in my 1st few weeks of attempting to convert my videos to DVD format. I have been copying them via SCART from my VCR onto DVD+RWs using a LiteOn (LVW-5115GHC+). I then put said DVD into my PC DVD rewriter and fire up Nero Vision. If I simply skip through the wizard without attempting to "Edit DVD Title and Chapters" it appears to work fine. However if I do attempt to add or alter the chapters when I put my DVD back into a DVD player (PC or TV) (even though the data is on the disk) all I get is a dead dumb menu that doesnt link to the actual video. Does anyone know how to solve this

Also although Nero boasts to have a "DVD Shrink" type thing in one of its many sub-programs "ReCode DVD" (or something like that) it doesn't appear to kick in if a project using NeroVision gets slightly too large for burning. It's VERY anoying after spending hours playing VHS onto a DVD for Nero to add a few Mb and it not to fit onto a single DVD anymore. Is this a "User Problem" or a generic limitation of Nero

Also When I save a NeroVision project it saves it as an NVC file which only appears to open through Nero Burning ROM so I cant re-edit or re-burn if there are problems and it doesnt actually save the project data!! Any Idea why this is and is there any easy solution to different DVD editing, encoding, burning software saving with file extensions that other packages dont recognise

Sorry for long question and if I'm asking numpty questions but help would be appreciated!
Cheers
