  1. Hi all

I use photoshop CS2 and Premiere Pro 2.
My question is this - What crop size would you use on a image portrait and lanscape to use in a 4:3 pal, so when you look at the programme screen in premiere it will fit perfectly. Or is their any calculation for this?. I do tick the fit images on in the preference menu.
The reason Why I ask is that I am re doing old photos for wifes birthday, because their awful, i have to cop them in photoshop, but when I come to my premiere pro, the landscape image is to long. so is the portrait. But I try to shrink the image down using scale on, the imge does not fit the screen. If I turn the scale of in the effects menu the image just looks fat when i fit it onto the screen. I do Have the safety margins on.

    Cheers Josel

Photoshop CS2 has a PAL template. Just go File, New and select the PAL D1 template with guides. Fit your image to this and it will be OK.
