PLease someone help. I have searched and read but cannot find anything that will convert my avi files to any dvd format that i can play on my dvd player. I have managed to convert to video ts but can't find any programs to burn them. I don't seem to have any problems copying a dvd movie as an iso image file and burning it. Any help would be appreciated before i go crazy trying to figure it out. THANKS in advance.

Quick and simple answer: DivXToDVD. It's fast. It's simple. It's free.

Don't forget to get CopyToDVD, a DVD burning software that be used directly with DivXToDVD.

    Cheers!

Thanks guys. The divx to dvd and copy to dvd worked great. Now I have a problem with a movie in xvid format , can't seem to encode or burn this using these applications.

  7. I had a similar problem with Xvid movies. Go to www.xvidmovies.com and download the latest Xvid and Divx codecs. I had no problem with playing/converting after that.
You also may want to try DvdSanta to convert your avi files. You can also use it to burn to dvd. I get perfect results everytime.
