Hello, im having a bit of troubles figuring out this program... I have few questions and thought someone might help me out with them.
    1. Can this program create a DVD from my home movies in avi & mpeg formats...
    2. I've already created a menu in another program (DVD Menu Studio)... Can I import it into Vegas and intergrated it with the videos... Can I create menus in this program in the future?
    3. Are there any good tutorials on Vegas?

    Thank you in advance

Sony vegas is not a dvd authoring tool. It's mainly a video editor. DVD architect is included in latest vegas releases, use it for dvd authoring and it can also convert avi and mpgs to dvd. Or get another authoring tool, <--Tools list Authoring(DVD).

Can you recommend which one is best? and which one would allow me to import an ready-made menu...?
I've looked through a tutorial there (<--) on how to create a DVD and it involves so much work and so many programs at a time... I've noticved that the tut is from 2004, so i decided to keep looking...

Thanx for the link, but since Vegas is not an authoring tool, i dont think im gonna need it... I have a full version of Nero. And I believe it has Vision there... Is this a good program? Would you recommend it?

It is a very average tool. If you just want quick and easy results, go for it, but the quality is a lot less than you would get from using even an entry level tool like Vegas Movie Studio.

Would I recommend it ? Personally, no.
