I have an avi with framerate of 29 fps. I used diko to encode to 25 fps as i have it configured for pal. The movie was originally 1:30:... long now it is 1:50:.. long and the audio is way off sync.

Why would diko add 20 mins to my movie.

What i want to do is encode with diko( as i don't get flickers in the video when changing framerate) and then take the audio from the original and sync it to the new video i have encoded. I tried demuxing the audio to wave and then coverting to pal with besweet, but no joy.

    Looking forward to suggestions

Because it slowed it down from 29.97fps to 25fps.

I don't use that program, but unless you messed something up in the settings, I think you've already proven that it can't handle 29.97->25fps conversions. Perhaps it's better at 23.976->25fps conversions.

You already have video that plays unnaturally slow. Do you now want to make an audio that plays unnaturally deep and low and slow? Did you try the NTSC->PAL (29.970 to 25.000) Preset?

    Thanks for the reply,

Yes tried that preset, didn't work.

Be kind to me, i have had the avi for some time and have only just got time to try to convert it successfully now, so i can't remember exactly what methods i have tried with it.
