I have an "ALL REGIONS" DVD that plays fine on my PC, but has no picture (only audio) on my DVD home theatre system (Region 1) and displays a B&W picture with uncontrollable roll on my other DVD player. Is there a copy I can make with a fix for this?

    Thanks,
    Thom

It is a PAL DVD and you then need a dvd player that can convert and output it to NTSC.

Thanks, for the quick reply Baldrick. I just did a quick look in the 'how to' section but didn't see a PAL to NTSC entry. I'm sure there has to be such a thing, could you please tell me where I might find it?

    Thanks a bunch (again),
    Thom

and no, it isn't simple to convert pal to ntsc if you want good quality. easiest is to get a cheap dvd player that supports pal to ntsc conversion.

Thanks again Baldrick! My source is in fact a PAL (although that was not indicated ANYWHERE), DGMPGDec identified it. I am actually interested more in the music, but my PC does not have 5.1, so video quality is not a huge concern. I'll experiment and see what I can learn!
