I’m trying to figure out where all of the Next Generation movies fit in between DS9 episodes.
I’ve been searching the internet for about a month now and can’t find a decent ep list that shows continuity, and the Star Trek forums are not exactly friendly to ‘noobs’ asking such questions. Apparently this is something I should have memorized??
I’m a casual fan of the shows and movies set in the Star Trek universe, not a complete and total fanatic…
If one of you kind folks could assist me in figuring out where the TNG movies fit in with the DS9 episodes I would be greatly appreciative.

    TIA!!

  2. I am a casual fan. I did not really follow ds9. I did not see the point. The whole point of Trek was to go places and explore new life. They were on a space station that went nowhere.

DS9 started after Season 5 of TNG.

Generations would have been Season 2 or so.

First Contact probably Season 5 (after Worf joined on board - remember he had the defiant in the beginning of the movie)

Insurection was 1998 I think and I believe that would have been somewhere between Season 6 and 7 (towards the end of the show).

Nemesis was after the show was over.

These are rough estimates mind you.

Many said that. But in the end I really felt like DS9 was one of the strongest StarTrek series. Its worth checking out.

Shame we'll likely never see a DS9 movie.

I'd put DS9 on par with VOYAGER. It was pretty rough around the edges in the first two seasons. But it got better and Worf really helped it out.

If you are searching this long to try and accomplish this, I think you may have crossed the "casual fan" line.
