  1. Hi guys,

I was wondering following the basic guide below I have been able to achieve the desired result

    http://www.jonesgroup.net/media/dvdworkshoptwostepone.htm

however when following the guide above, I can seem to create the scene selection pages that I want, but what I would like to know is, how do I go about importing an image of my choice as my main menu with the option and scene selection (main menu linking to my created scene selection pages using the above guide) options avaiable?

and how do I link them togther?

Help or a pointer in the right direction would be appreciated.

    Hello Castor troy,
In the tutorial link menus using the wizard option is explained. If I understand correctly you want to use a custom background to your main menu. This can be done easily by clicking the background button which appears just under the "Show scene number" checkbox. From there you can select the background of your choice (movie or image). All the links will remain in tact. This button allows you to modify the background of all menus at once or just one at a time. Use the Select title/track drop down to modify settings for each menu individually. To have multiple menu choices available you must first create chapters for the titles for which you require scene menus.
Once you have pressed Finish you can edit any of the menus further if required.
There's a 3rd party book on DVD Workshop 2 which you might find helpful:

    best wishes,

Do you have your image for your main menu and chapter selection menus already created (ie., scanned) and sized properly (~720x480 or Ulead suggest 768x576(??)) ?? If so, you simply import those images into your Image Library.. then just drag them onto the menu work space for each menu page and then create your buttons/links.

If you don't have images prepared already, then you can go to the Edit stage, play the video and then pause on the image that you want for your menus... and for each, you simply click the "Add Current Frame to Library" on the left. then do the same as above from the library.
