please give us more information,
does it just happens to this movie you have created? or all?
what is the source format and how do you capture it? dvd,dv-avi,analouge capturing or? -
Probably it's a wrong field order problem (top or bottom field). Your PC Player could be playing it as progressive and your home tv dvd player plays it as interlaced. If it has a wrong field order your standalone player will play it jumpy and blurry, showing some trails in fast action scenes. Try changing field order when creating. Good Luck!

Its happening to me too. Looked wonderful on PC and on TV whenever the singer (closeup shot) moves his head, it leaves a yucky trail. I havent tried reversing the field order yet...have you? Have you resolved your issue? I tried authoring using 2 different programs, as well as changing interlace method..no success.
