I have a question regarding DVCAM, or DVCPRO.
I've recieved a tape in dvcam of some celebration (same applies to DVCPRO), which I want to edit in Premiere Pro.
I know that during the shooting, there were 3 audio channels available. One is the internal camera microphone, the second is an external RF mike, and the third is the DJ music in the celebration.
Now, I want to download it to my computer and then edit it:

    1. I have only mini dv camera. Possibly I will rent a DVCAM camera for a day or two to transfer the material onto my computer. Is there a firewire in DVCAM cameras?

    2. Since there are 3 audio channels, which I want to mix during the editing, meaning, I want to play with the volume levels once in a while (sometimes to lower the DJ totally, sometimes put it together with the external mike, sometimes to maximize the external mike and lower down the other two... etc...), I probabely need 3 files of audio, right? is this how it is done? I put in the premiere the 3 audio files and play with their volume levels?

    3. if I transfer it to MINI DV, that I will probabely loose the 3 audio channels, right? I mean, I will receive only one channel of all the 3 mixed up together, which is totally wrong for me... right?
