  1. Dear friends,

    I see in this site (http://www.cask-of-amontillado.com/pvr_reg.html) many registry settings, and I too how to change the Contrast, Sharpness, Hue, etc.

    Example:
    ################################################## ############################
    Sharpness, brightness and contrast
    Trick for pvr 150/500: Changing these value’s will change the different settings in some 3rd party software, like mce2005
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\hcwPP2\DriverData]
    "HcwHue"=dword:00000000
    "HcwSaturation"=dword:00000073
    "HcwBrightness"=dword:00000000
    "HcwContrast"=dword:0000005A
    "HcwSharpness"=dword:00000007
    ################################################## ############################
    I change these values manualy inthe registry and I want to apply directly in the WinTV2000 that is already open and running.
    What the registry setting to apply the changes and afect the wintv in that moment?
    These settings affect directly WinTV2000?
    Thanks and sorry about my bad english.

    Most changes to the registry will take effect only after a restart of the application, or a retsrat of the system. I doubt they will take effect to the open application as it will have already read the registry when it opened. You might even find it over=writes the changes you have made when you close it, as many application store their current settings this way.

  3. I just tried in the 2 ways.
    Fisrt I change the settings in the registry and after I open the WinTV2000.
    The settings was how I made but the application didn't "undestand" then.
    If you see "Hauppauge Tweak Tool" when you change the settings using this tool and if you have WinTV open, the settings aftect directly WinTV.
    The Hauppauge Tweak Tool access the registry too to change the settings or not ???

    Don't know. Try using a registry monitoring tool to see if it does. You can probably find one at snapfile.com or tucows.com or download.com
