Can anyone tell me how I can extract both audio and video seperately from an AVI file ?.
I have some videos captured with Hypercam 2 screen capture software to which I recorded a sound commentary in capturing the screen action. I wish in some cases to be able to extract the sound when I have made errors, edit it then put it back with the video again and remain in synch. Is there anyone who could suggest suitable software and how this can be done? In fact I have extracted the sound as a WAV file by exporting the audio stream from within VirtualDubmod, but I do not know how to get it all back together again.

In virtualdubmod go to streams and then choose disable to deselect your highlighted audio then select add to import your new audio stream.
