I have an HP pavilion with a lightscribe burner. What program do I use to burn a label on a light scribe disc?

  2. Since this is specialized software that works only with a lightscribe drive, this would most likely be contained in the package you got with yours.

    Hi,
Most LightScribe hardware products come with a CD with label-burning software. and there are many different types of LightScribe-enabled software. The type you get will depend on your hardware.

    LightScribe software includes two applications:
    * Labeling software. This is the program you'll use to create your labels.
    * LightScribe System Software. Each hardware manufacturer will provide the optimal version for their systems, but you can also download a universal version. In some cases, the LightScribe System Software is included in the labeling application. Otherwise, it needs to be installed separately and may be on a separate disc than the labeling application.

My drive came with the Nero labeling software and I hated it. This software is inexpensive ($25 US) and is fairly easy to use. It did need a quick update before it could actually burn the disc, but there were no probelms getting it.
