flashed my dvd-rw now its dissapeard

i downloaded some new firmware for my nec 3520a, i used 3.4 (freecom/oem), i flashed it but now the computer doesnt see the drive, also i tried flashing other software i used befor ebut it doesn tlet me

any help?

widnows doesnt show me the driver name but juist the icon in mycomputer, it shows as a cd drive when its actually a dvd drive, i tried to update the driver cos any disk i was putting in was turning the drive into a cd drive and windows wouldnt recognise the disk, also i should mention it was working before my computer went blue screen cos the stack ip was not equal, that was about 20 mins, although the dvd burner has turned into a cd drive when ive put in dvd-r before but i think updating the firmware fixed this
