    Hi

Pardon me for asking this question.

I bought my Epson R200 around Xmas time last year. I paid only $29.99 after receiving a $20 rebate. I already registered my purchase with Epson. According to what is said at the link you provided, I will automatically receive $45 credit from Epson.

So, it would seem that I would be "making" some money (approx. $15)?

Hm..it just sounds too good to be true. :P

    Cheers

    US citizens only?

Says that you get the "out of ink" message even though there is plenty of ink. Should I be resetting the ink levels until it physically runs out? or can this give me problems with the jets?

    EDIT
Asked this question too early, the list of eligible printers doesn't include the R210 which was the Aussie version of the R200.

Question about ink levels still stands.

Most items at the Epson stores are $45 overpriced already, so this strikes me as a big waste of time, and all we'd gain is the privilege of being on yet another mailing list. I just assume keep buying from Staples and Fry's and forget this mess.

From the FAQ section on the settlement site, under "What are the settlement benefits for class members?"

In the alternative, a Settlement Class Member may reject the $45 credit and instead elect, by not later than June 22, 2006 (the "Claims Period"), to receive either: (a) a combination of $25 payable by check and a $20 Epson E-Store credit for each registered printer; or (b) a discount of 25% off Epson E-Store purchases for a total discount of up to $100 with respect to each registered printer.
I think the "alternative benefits" are rather better, especially alternative (a). I'll take the $25 cheque and blow off the store credit...
