  2. Listen guys.I need to know this question also.
I put a Apex 500wm on layaway today at WAL-M.
My guess is that it's just a firmware upgrade model.
    Help a guy out.Thanks. kitso

  3. I believe the M does stand for the macrovision, but I thought both had it or maybe the one with the M has a more updated version of macrovision. also SkitsoJuggalo have you been to thesixth.com's chatroom? if so then look me up as DeadBilly or ask for somebody that knows me.

  5. Ok everyone.I went out and bought the Apex 500wm.It plays burned vcd's perfectly.I love it.It plays mp3's great. It does everthing I wanted and more like having a wide screen movie hitting 1 button (zoom) and now it fits the whole screen.I really do like this player.
There is only one problem.I tried to copy my
Universal Soldier 2-The Return Dvd with my new Sanyo 4 head Hi-Fi Vcr.And Bam it goes light to dark.So to all people that don't know that's microvision.
If you have the right vcr it will copy.Like I have an old (about 2 and a half years old)sharp 2 head vcr that will record fine.Hope this help's out.

I will be getting another Apex 500-wm for my room.(Like a gaming room). The other is in the living room for the wife.
