Question on waste bottle issue

Hey for any of you that have the waste bottle for the epson im having a problem ink is coming out of the hole of the lid. Any ideas on whats going on? picture below

No its not full i know since i stood over it and took the picture it looks that way but the bottle is only 1/6 full. someone mention to me about possibly the ink being made in asia and not Usa because it may be foaming and the ink isnt suppose to foam

I'll bet you don"t have the tube extending down into the bottle. If it"s sitting flush with the lid< it will run across the lid and out the hole, rather than dripping down into the bottle. Kind of like the old grade school science project where you can poor water down a string and it holds onto it.

I figured it out when i took the lid off and looked underneath there is a plastic piece the same size as the lid that can rotate. That piece had a larger hole which wasnt aligned to the hole i can view on the outside. I rotated it so that the hole match up and it doesnt come out any more
