pioneer 533 hs self starting dvds

Why is that when i burn dvds on this machine ,later when i put the disc back in it wont load to my thumbnails for play.I have to press menu for them to come up.When i Put A Dvd i recorded from my old sharp dvd recorder it brings up all the shows on the disc.Is there a way i can get the thumbnails to show up once the disc is inserted into this machine.

The Pioneer recorders always set the autoplay mode and don't provide an option to have the menu appear first. My understanding is the Toshiba recorders give you that option. What I do when I want a menu to appear is reauthor the DVD on my computer. That way I can use the DVD authoring application's nicer menus (and chapter menus, too).
