I don't understand yet how I can make a DVD-Video, with a menu, subtitles, etc. Can somebody explains or gives me some link which I can learn how to make this thing, but remember that I'm a begginer.
Also, how I can make an avi from a DVD. I know that on this site exists many guides but ... I'm not sure with more things and I don't understant them.
I need some "beginners help" from a good personl.![]()
Thank you very much.

Find guides that explain these steps and try them. Many use freeware, shareware or applications with free-trials, so it doesn't cost anything more than your time to experiment and find what suits you. It can be as simple or as complicated as you make it.There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those that understand binary... -

DVD Decrypter works well for that. There's a lot of other software that will do the same. -
Ulead DVD Moviefactory is capable of taking a video file, creating menus, probably subtitles (although I've never tried), converting everything to the corrrect format (authoring) and burning to DVD. For an all-in-one the quality is pretty good as it uses the Mainconcept MPEG2 encoder and it isn't that expensive to buy. Before you committ hard earned cash to it, there is a 30 day free trial available for download from www.ulead.com. This will get you started, once you know what you are doing then you can start experimenting with different applications to do the different bits of the process.
To convert DVD to avi, try DVDx (search for it under Tools to the left). -
