This is a mystery. How can a Avi/Mpeg4 File have bits or pieces of other Mpeg4 files added to it from other Directories?. Is it some kind of Virus or a Hacker Program. I've downloaded some friends videos and when I played them, some how bits and pices of other Mpeg4 videos got mixed in it, One file had at lest 3 other Mpeg4 files mixed in it , ones that are on my Computer. I use ImTOO to convert the AVI/Mpeg4 files to Mpeg1. So far I can't get a Program to Play AVI/MPEG4 Files on my system. I use Win98 and Play Movies with Windows Media Player 7. I can Play AVI/MPEG4 Files with ImTOO Encoder Converter and they play realy slow and thats when I notice the Video having "Extra" stuff mixed in it. I've run AVG Virus Program many times..and nothing is found. So, I'm puzzled. Also I have Zone Alarm running when I'm downloading. So, Does anyone know what would Cause this?

It sounds like 'ImTOO' is your problem. Try using VLC media player to play your downloaded videos. It should play about anything. It uses it's own codecs. You may have codec problems. That might explain why they won't play properly. I hope you haven't installed any codec packs? For codec problems: DxMan and Codec Sniper.

You might want to do a virus scan. Eiwdo has a freeware scanner that works well: http://www.ewido.net/en/
    Another is Trend Micro: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

    For freeware antivirus: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5

    Spyware; Spybot S&D: http://www.safer-networking.org/ and
    SpyWare Blaster: http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

    All freeware and very effective.
